Update monthly rent data — changes appear on the site immediately. No code changes needed.
Update Rent for a City
Fill in the latest median asking rents from Rentals.ca or Door Insight, then click Save. Leave a field blank to keep the existing value.

📅 Monthly Update Process
Takes about 20 minutes once a month. Do this on the 1st of each month.
- Go to Rentals.ca monthly report — published ~10th of each month
- Find the Ontario city table in the report (ctrl+F "Ontario")
- Note the 1BR and 2BR average and the YoY % change for each city
- Cross-check 2–3 cities against Door Insight for accuracy
- Come to this admin page and update each changed city one by one
- Update "Last Updated" month in Settings tab
- Done — changes are live immediately
💡 Tip: You don't need to update every city every month — only the ones that changed significantly. Smaller cities like Thunder Bay or Sarnia rarely change more than 1–2%.
